J. F. Fischer, Inc. (JFF) converted The Renaissance Hotel from central supply district steam in downtown Baltimore and performed other upgrades. Three hot water heaters and three hot water boilers were furnished and installed. JFF removed and disposed of a 10,000 gallon domestic hot water tank to make room for new equipment while refurbishing and relining two existing 10,000 gallon domestic hot water tanks. JFF furnished and installed new electric steam generators to service kitchen equipment as well as a new Domestic Hot Water mixing valve for room hot water distribution to the entire hotel. JFF also provided new electric distribution and panels to power new equipment. A new gas supply was extended thru the building to new equipment located on the 6th floor as well as extending boiler vents thru exterior wall on 6th floor which was granite panel wall material. Powdercoat flue extensions were added to match granite color. All work was performed while the hotel was occupied without any extended systemic outages.
