Scope of Work

J. F. Fischer, Inc. (JFF) is contracted to provide Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing services for interior renovations to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Zayed Bloomberg Adult Emergency Department. This work entails installing mechanical HVAC and Plumbing systems in a currently occupied and operating hospital environment. The HVAC Scope included supplying and installing Air Handling Equipment, and associated ductwork and air distribution systems. The HVAC equipment that was provided and installed includes High Efficiency HEPA Filtration Units, Fan Coil Units, Air Terminal Units, and Blower Coil Units, with associated Heating Water and Chilled Water piping and systems tied into the existing building infrastructure. Included in the Plumbing Scope is providing and installing plumbing fixtures, plumbing specialties, medical gas equipment, medical gas specialties, and associated piping systems. Plumbing Equipment provided and installed include Medical Gas alarm systems, Medical gas outlets including headwalls, Plumbing Fixtures and Plumbing Specialties, and associated Plumbing and High Purity Medical Gas piping systems. This is a Phased Project working within an operating hospital setting with no interruptions to employee and patient operations.
