Scope of Work
J. F. Fischer, Inc. replaced four existing unreliable chillers and condensing units with one new modular chiller and four condensing units. The majority of this work was completed in the summer months and involved careful phasing and coordination with Verizon to avoid impacting the chilled water system. Part of the phasing included installing a temporary chiller in a very compact location in historic downtown Annapolis. We will install nearly 2,000 feet of refrigerant piping from the basement up three stories to the rooftop condensers. All of this work will be completed concurrently with a major electrical switchboard replacement project in the building. The scope also includes new pumps, an air separator, a 700-gallon buffer tank, variable frequency drives, and new controls.
